The course explains how fair market value is defined in eminent domain, the role of highest and best use, and how partial takings, easements, severance damages, and property impacts influence just compensation. Through clear examples and real residential scenarios, participants learn how to apply the three approaches to value, meet heightened due‑diligence expectations, and produce defensible appraisals in land‑acquisition cases.
