Gerald “Jerry” Yurek has served on the Appraiser Qualifications Board (AQB) of The Appraisal Foundation since January 2020. He is currently the Chair of the AQB, following his tenure as Vice Chair from 2023–2024.
Before joining the AQB, Jerry spent more than twenty years on The Appraisal Foundation’s Industry Advisory Council, including service as Vice Chair and Chair from 2017–2020.
For the past fifteen years, Jerry has been Senior Vice President and Chief Appraiser at PNC Bank, N.A., where he oversees nationwide residential valuation and collateral risk strategy. His responsibilities include leading risk mitigation efforts, advancing data driven valuation analytics, and establishing policy and regulatory guidance.
Jerry is a state certified residential appraiser in Ohio and Kentucky and is based in Cincinnati. He brings nearly forty years of experience spanning appraisal, appraisal review, appraiser management, and collateral risk management.
